UNIFEM Australia is looking forward to working with the NGO Sector to make International Women’s Day 2011, the biggest celebration of gender equality in Australia!
 
With the announcement of $310,000 in funding from the Office for Women for UNIFEM Australia and the Women’s Alliances to strengthen the visibility and impact of IWD nationally, we will be able to ensure that IWD celebrations are truly national next year.
 
We are thrilled to be partnering with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Westpac and AVON and are looking forward to announcing our other corporate partnerships in the weeks ahead.

International Women's Day 2010 will be celebrated on Monday 8th March, this years theme is Empowering Women to End Poverty by 2015.
