Theme

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS

• The theme for IWD 2011 is “Celebrating 100 Years”.  We have decided to leave the theme fairly general, so that communities across Australia can interpret it locally and join us to celebrate this important milestone.
   
  Some ideas for how you might use this theme are:
   
  - Looking at women in your community who have shaped gender equality.
  - The past, the present and the future.
  - Focus on what the next 100 years will look like.
  - What progress has been made in the past 100 years?
